Makani Academy was founded in 1990 by the two Danish Master Trainers; Jack and Helene Makani who were among the pioneers of NLP and the Enneagram in Scandinavia. The academy became initially known as the NLP House of Denmark. From 1995 it expanded into a handful of NLP Houses throughout Scandinavia based on partnership with local partners.
In 2001 Jack and his sister Annmarie Bremer received the Akasha system from the cosmic levels and Jack created the Akasha Empowerment & Healing System – This system has been rapidly growing and culminated so far at the 15th year of celebration in Palanga, Lithuania 2016 with the participation of 85 people.

From 2005 Jack and Helene started to expand outside Scandinavia and moved into the Russian Speaking World. The first corporative Russian partner was Tamara Suhakova from Minsk in Belarus who were the driving force in Makani Coaching Centre. Today Tamara owns “The Studio for Creative Solutions – Coaching Centre” in Minsk.
In November 2005 Jack & Helene also founded a coach and trainer association together with Mihail Dernakovsky from Minsk, Belarus. It is called ICTA and have members World Wide.

A few years later Jack joined a partnership with Vektor Rosta in Minsk and Moscow. This corporation has expanded further with Vektor Rosta as the coordinating institute of a network of co-partners throughout the whole Russian speaking World and is mostly based on the Akasha Empowerment & Healing System.

Helene specialized into the Enneagram and became an international expert of that model. Today she is based in Oslo, Norway.

The Akasha Empowerment & Healing System is the main part of the Education to become a Holistic Psychotherapist. This education is offered by the network of partners which exist around Jack and Makani Academy.
Within the last years Indra Gurung and Razee Shresta from Visionary International and Kusum Ghandi Vig from India have joined the network. Latest Dorthe Gyldenkaerne from Adastra on the Faroe Island has joined in as the coordinator for Scandinavia and the Nordic region.

The Network is still expanding and Jack is constantly looking for new partners in other regions of the world.
